The Tipple Family

a·dop·tion – building a family through the process of concentrated, dedicated, enduring love, rather than through biology.

The Tipple Family couldn’t wait to meet the new addition to their family.  When Jacob was born and required care in the NICU, his forever family knew they needed to be by his side.  Mom Rhonda traveled from their Ohio home to meet and care for her new son in Winston-Salem. Our House provided a “home away from home” right near the hospital and Jacob.  Rhonda visited her son every day as he grew bigger and stronger.  Dad Dan and big sister Mia visited on the weekends.  Meeting other families in similar situations and participating in pet therapy and weekly BINGO made a world of difference for the Tipples.  Rhonda said, “We were from out-of-state with no nearby support from friends and family.  RMH offered that support.  We feel so blessed…”  After 23 days in our House, the Tipple Family traveled home together.

Your generosity helped us keep the Tipple Family close, even when they were 400 miles from home. Your support and care make all the difference.
